Virgin Islands, March 22, 2024 – Following the recent walking tour that showcased our dedication to the Virgin Islands community, VIElectron is thrilled to announce significant strides in our ongoing philanthropic endeavors. One of our flagship projects, in collaboration with Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church on St. John, marks a transformative milestone in our efforts to address homelessness in the Virgin Islands. With a generous donation of $1.67 million, VIElectron has spearheaded the development of the new Saint John Homeless Shelter. Through meticulous planning, including architectural drawings and land leases, we are poised to commence construction within the next four weeks. This endeavor underscores our firm belief in providing a safe haven and essential resources for the most vulnerable members of our community.

In addition to this groundbreaking initiative, VIElectron has embarked on various goodwill gestures that aim to uplift and enrich the lives of residents across the Virgin Islands. Recognizing the importance of fostering camaraderie and promoting physical activity among the youth, we recently donated 40 bicycles and helmets to the St. John Police Department. These bicycles will not only serve as a means of transportation but also as a conduit for meaningful interactions between local children and law enforcement officers. This collaborative effort will culminate in a special event in April 2024, where children will have the opportunity to ride alongside officers, fostering trust and mutual respect within the community.

We recently contributed to the beautification of the St. John Police Department by donating the painting of its front façade, symbolizing our appreciation for the dedication and service of law enforcement personnel. Additionally, we have enriched the learning environment at the Florence Williams Public Library on St. Croix by donating new furniture, ensuring that residents have access to a comfortable and inviting space for exploration and discovery.
